Collecting Toys and Holiday Shopping at Ooh Fashionista Boutique

SAN DIEGO - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Each year, It’s All About the Kids™ Foundation collects and distributes over 1500 toys to children in San Diego and Baja Mexico. This year, Ooh Fashionista Boutique has joined the cause by becoming an official toy donation location and hosting a Toy Drive and Holiday Shopping Party.

Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped, non-violent toy [value $15 or more] or gift card to be donated to the Foundation and will receive a 20% discount on all their shopping. Toys will be collected at the unique boutique in Cardiff by the Sea, from November 15, 2013 through December 8, 2013.

On December 8, 2013 from 1pm-4pm, Ooh Fashionista Boutique and Kristy Salazar will host a fantastic shopping party from 1pm-4pm! Guests will enjoy complimentary wine from Etchings Expressions and appetizers. Guests at the party will also receive 20% off all their shopping in the store and a $100 gift certificate from La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic. Belloccio Airbrush Makeup will be doing makeovers for all the ladies and a raffle will be held for great prizes including a one hour massage from Sunnyside Physical Therapy. Partying for a Purpose is producing the event.

“I was adopted and if I had not been, I would have been placed in an orphanage in Mexico. Later in my life, I volunteered in orphanages in Mexico and tried to adopt a little girl from one of the orphanages but was unsuccessful. Having seen the need and blessings in orphanages and worked with the homeless, I am so excited to be involved with It’s All About the Kids™ Foundation,” said Hortencia Moore, owner of Ooh Fashionista Boutique.
