Rockers Movement & Miami Trolley Partner To Encourage MIami Reggae Festival Attendees To Leave Thei

 
MIAMI - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Rockers Movement and the City of Miami’s iconic trolley inspired Miami Trolley will partner to provide transportation in a join effort to help reduce the carbon footprint of the 8,000 attendees expected  to attend the Miami Reggae Festival on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. Rockers Movement will help empower the community to have a positive impact on the environment while enjoying the festival, by also providing a bike valet for attendees who choose to ride their bike to the festival. The event will be held from 1pm-11pm.

“ We hope that the small part we play in offering alternative methods of transportation, will  inspire and inform attendees about simple everyday actions that when done collectively can make a real difference in the sustainability of our environment, states Rockers Movement, Executive Director, Alfonso D’Brooks.

Rockers Movement is dedicated to raising awareness for humanitarian aid and relief through their events. They empower the community through the universal language of music, as well as the arts and cultural media. The Miami Reggae Festival brings together music from around the world. Performers include: Stephen “Ragga” Marley , Tiken Jah Fakoly, Cultura Profética, Natiruts , Midnite, Gondwana , Black Slate & Carroll Thompson ,Bachaco, and Causion. Rockers Movement not only connects the dots in empowering the community of South Florida, but they also raise awareness and help those in need of food assistance in Miami Dade county with their food drive.
