NOIDA, India - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Tashi Nungshi world’s first twin sisters to climb Mt. Everest this May visited Institute of Management Studies, Noida radio station Salam Namastey.

Tashi Nungshi, residents of Dehradun have successfully become the first set of twins to scale the highest peak in the world- Mt Everest. Daughters of a former Army officer, the girls scaled the peak on May 2013.

The sisters' aim is to scale the highest peaks in all seven continents. They have already ticked the boxes in Africa (Mount Kilimanjaro) and Asia (Everest). The ones that remain are Mt McKinley (North America), Mt Aconcagua (South America), Mt Carstensz Pyramid (Australia), Mt Elbrus (Europe) and Mt Vinson Massif (Antarctica).

They also want to do their bit to raise awareness about female infanticide.

Tashi Nungshi did their school education from Mussoorie, and stood as avid participants to sports and adventure activities in the school. After passing their class XII examinations, love for mountaineering made them go for Basic Mountaineering Course at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi, which was completed in 2010. They did not stop here and went on to successfully undertaken Advance Mountaineering Course from the NIM in 2011.
