Most recently, Berger was director of development, outreach & education at the Pasadena Playhouse, where she successfully managed the theater’s fundraising activities. Berger has a comprehensive professional background developing and overseeing successful fundraising and development initiatives. Berger also previously worked with Morris & Berger as a nonprofit executive search consultant. “I am honored to join such an established nonprofit like Five Acres,” said Berger. “The level of community impact and commitment to helping improve the lives of foster youth and their families is remarkable. I look forward to moving Five Acres’ mission forward and helping to ensure the vitality of the organization.” Berger holds a master’s in public administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management from the University of Southern California. She is an active community volunteer serving as education chair of the Association of Fundraising Professions, Greater Los Angeles Chapter and is a board member of the Student Philanthropists Advancing Real Change.
