Nov. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- YUMA, ARIZONA— Mazda CEO Masamichi Kogai recently predicted that the automaker will see record sales in the U.S. during the next two years.

Mazda has its sights set on selling 300,000 units by the end of this fiscal year in March 2014 within the U.S. The company’s longer-term goal is to sell 400,000 vehicles in the U.S. market by March 2016.

The popular Mazda3 is picking up sales steam, and is the leader in terms of Mazda’s hopes for record sales.

In addition to increasing U.S. sales figures, Kogai says that he expects Mazda to claim 2.5 percent of U.S. market share in the near future. The automaker currently has 1.9 percent of the U.S. market.
