SHEFFIELD, U.K. - Nov. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Learning Light, which provides advice and help to organisations using e-learning and learning technologies to improve their business performance, has further enlarged The E-Learning Centre (http://www.e-learningcentre.co.uk/) website by including a wide range of performance support materials from ej4.

The ‘ej4 performance enhancement solution’, designed to increase the intellectual value of human capital by instructing repeatable skills and knowledge that increase ‘close ratios’ for sales people, improve performance and modify behaviours. According to Learning Light director, David Patterson, these learning and performance support materials are used by the sector skills council EU Skills, major corporations such as Rio Tinto, Pfizer, Merck, Dr Pepper Snapple and Pepsi and innovative accountancy practice, Knowles Warwick.

“In making these videos available via the E-Learning Centre, Learning Light is able to bring to a wider audience what is proven to work well for corporate America,” he said.

The ej4 videos focus on performance improvement techniques and skills. In particular, they deal with improving sales and customer service skills but there are also videos covering leadership and management activities.

The video content is cloud-based so it’s accessible anywhere via a range of devices. Course administrators will find that the content can be managed via ej4’s online campus or on an existing learning management system (LMS).

“The idea behind these content-rich, high quality videos is that you can train your team in record time at an affordable cost, using an approach that is proven to work and maximise success - ultimately adding value to your company's bottom line,” David Patterson said.

“Each ej4 video uses green screen technology to let the presenters interact with their content – a technique used by TV weather forecasters. This increases the impact of that content on the learners and it’s been shown to maximise its learning effectiveness.”

The E-learning Centre is an information resource about e-learning and learning technologies for business education, not-for-profit or the public sector. In addition to the information and resources freely available on the site are a number of e-learning materials (http://www.e-learningcentre.co.uk/e-learning-courses/). These are gathered under the heading of ‘courses’ and produced by acknowledged leaders in technology-delivered corporate learning.
