Euro Electro-pop Duo The Green Children Releases M4Sonic Remix Single of ‘Possesed’

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA - Marlow and Milla heard M4Sonic's remix for Empire of the Sun's track‘Alive’ and loved his unique and timeless sound. M4Sonic is widely known Electro-house and Dubstep artist that not only became famous for his work on the Launchpad, but also for is work on viral song, ‘The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)’. Marlow and Milla reached out to Nick of M4Sonic because they felt an instant connection with thevocals, the band, and the fact that ‘giving back’ is such a huge part ofThe Green Children project. Once M4Sonic had finished producing 'Possessed', Grammy Award winner Myles Walker layed down the final mix.

About The Green Children

Milla (from Norway) and Marlow (from England) met at LIPA, a music school established by Sir Paul McCartney. After graduating, they relocated to Los Angeles and quickly secured a recording contract with Universal Music Group. They decided to leave the label in 2010 and released their debut album Encounter with Spinside Records, an imprint owned by the renowned musician Jackson Browne.

Encounter received high critical acclaim and was nominated in the first round of voting for a US Grammy Award in two categories; 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Pop Vocal Album'.

Rolling Stone described it as a collection of "Searching dance-pop ballads from elfin dreamers…Encounter glides by like Lady Gaga on a unicorn. Sunde gives synth-diva histrionics a mystical spritz, singing about dragons and black magic over skittering electro beats."

The Green Children were featured on the homepage of Young Hollywood, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, Amazon.com and on the iTunes Store. They also completed a US club tour and performed at several music festivals, including Summerfest, the world's largest. The album Encounter received several high profile remixes from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Digital Dog and Moguai with a remix from 7th Heaven reaching #17 in the UK club charts. The Green Children also completed a remix for chart toppers Foster The People, which quickly gained over 1 Million views raising money for SOS Children's Villages. The Green Children Foundation was established in 2005, in an effort to raise awareness and funds for those in need.

At the end of 2012, The Green Children released 3 songs from their forthcoming second album, with 'Feel The Light' announced as the first single. Critical acclaim was universally positive. The single received US radio support and their music was featured on MTV during the release.

The duo's second full length album, entitled Connection was released on July 23rd, 2013 through Amoeba Music. Fans who pre-ordered the album received autographed copies.

Searching for inspiration for their sophomore record, Marlow and Milla returned to the mysterious woods and crystal-blue lakes of Norway. While immersed in the countryside, the duo recorded and produced the full length album entitled Connection.

The album Connection entered the Amazon mp3 charts (USA) at No. 25 and received rave reviews. PolicyMic described the Album as "A triumph that will sit nicely in any music collection, an album to listen to again and again, enjoy and never forget."

Marlow and Milla also produced an official remix for chart toppers Foster the People and the track went on to raise $10,000 for homeless children.
