Follow on Google News | Flagler Beach Rotary Club's Project Share to Collect Toys at Flagler Beach's Holiday ParadeBy: Rotary Club of Flagler Beach The gifts, to be used as holiday gifts for children in need, will be distributed to children through Project Share, the official Christmas service project of Rotary Club of Flagler Beach. The long-time "Holiday at the Beach" parade will take place on December 7 in downtown Flagler Beach. The parade kicks off at 1:00 pm with Santa parachuting onto the beach near the pier. Toys should be new, unwrapped, and suitable for a child aged birth to 17 years old. Project Share also collects new and gently-used bicycles in good condition as well as monetary donations. All donations are used to fulfill the holiday wishes of children whose families are in need. Checks should be made out to Project Share and can be mailed to Flagler Beach Rotary Club at PO Box 2005, Flagler Beach, FL 32136. 2013 is Project Share's fourteenth year of operation. Last year, Project Share provided toys for 1400 children. Families who receive the toys are identified through local schools.
