Intelligent Decision Systems, Inc. Announces Expanded Leadership for Performance Systems Division

IDSI adds depth in technical and managerial experience to their Performance Systems Division (PSD) leadership team.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Nov. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Intelligent Decision Systems, Inc. (IDSI) announces several additions to its Performance Systems Division (PSD) leadership team. The PSD provides quality products and services that help organizations better achieve their mission and individuals improve their performance. Products include training, simulation, and job aid solutions based on purposeful analysis. Solutions are specifically designed to meet all critical functional requirements, integrate with the client’s existing infrastructure, provide innovative and exciting interaction, and support organizational goals. The new PSD managers will provide the talented leadership and discipline-based expertise necessary to deliver effective, custom solutions. The newest additions to our PSD management team include: Robin Altice, Project Manager; Ryan O’Donnell, Creative Director; Brian Morris, Program Manager; Rob Smith, Technical Data Project Manager; and Rachael Spayde, Quality Assurance Manager.

Robin Altice
Robin is a Project Manager (PM) working in the IDSI Williamsburg Office heading up a team of analysts, designers, and developers performing analysis and developing Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) for the Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) and the Project Manager Night Vision/Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (PM NV/RSTA).Robin is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) Certified Professional of Learning and Performance (CPLP) with a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology. She has over 12 years of experience leading multidisciplined teams in the design and development of innovative training solutions. Robin is a welcome addition to the IDSI team with her extensive knowledge of training strategies and technologies and her extraordinary resourcefulness, creativity, and energy.

Ryan O’Donnell
Ryan was specifically recruited to fill the newly created IDSI Creative Director position. In this role, Ryan is responsible for structuring, implementing, and overseeing all multimedia, programming, and development functions and processes for the PSD. The Creative Director is responsible for the supervision of its assigned employees; the continuous improvement and sustainment of high-quality aesthetics and fine arts in all IDSI media products; ensuring ongoing advancements in IDSI’s programming capabilities; and developing, implementing, and monitoring processes and procedures for smoothly integrating multimedia and programming efforts with all PSD production processes. Ryan also works closely with the Division Lead and Marketing Director on branding and presentation initiatives intended to manifest IDSI’s vision and commitment to quality and excellence. A talented and experienced artist and programmer himself, Ryan coordinates and collaborates with other PSD managers and leads his creative team across multiple offices, and he, himself, works out of IDSI’s Williamsburg, VA office.

Brian Morris
Brian is a highly experienced Program Manager (PgM) and Project Manager who is establishing the PSD team in the IDSI Orlando office. Brian is heading up a large analysis and IMI development project for the PEO STRI Program Manager for Constructive Simulations (PM Consim), Product Manager Warrior Training Integration (PdM WTI). A former Army and commercial pilot, Brian is a certified PMP with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and over 12 years of training management experience. His technical and program management experience make him the ideal leader for building and developing the PSD team in Orlando. He is also the IDSI Orlando Office Manager.

Rob Smith
A Senior Technical Data Manager for IDSI previously, Rob’s widespread knowledge of technical data production and experience with problem solving on tech data development issues led to his promotion to PM. His first assignment as PM is as the lead for the AN/TPQ 50 Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar (LCMR) Integrated Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) S1000D conversion effort for PEO STRI and Program Manager, Radars (PM RADARS). As IDSI’s Technical Data PM, Rob is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all tech data production processes and procedures;  managing all day-to-day technical data production; and supervising all technical data production personnel. He coordinates production resources to accomplish established timelines and schedules and provides ongoing status as to progress, challenges, risks, and efficiencies in achievement of the work. Rob works out of IDSI’s Panama City Beach, FL office and is also the Office Manager.

Rachael Spayde
IDSI has redoubled its commitment to quality across all products and services with the appointment of Rachael Spayde as the IDSI Quality Assurance (QA) Manager. Rachael is responsible for all corporate quality assurance-related activities, including, but not limited to: refining and defining quality assurance and quality control processes and procedures across all IDSI products and services; validating and formally documenting all IDSI quality processes and procedures; contributing to all technical proposal discussions of IDSI quality processes and procedures; providing quality reviews for all IDSI proposals, reports, and other formal correspondence; supervising the quality assurance team; and providing training on IDSI quality processes and procedures to IDSI personnel. As an extension of her QA Manager responsibilities, Rachael also oversees the development and documentation of IDSI’s Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, and Configuration Management programs, as well as all initiatives related to product reliability and integrity. Rachael works out of IDSI’s Williamsburg, VA office.
