Keytek™ holds fundraising events for Children in Need

POOLE, U.K. - Nov. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- On Friday 15th November staff from the Keytek™ Head Office located in Poole, Dorset took part in several fundraising events in aid of Children in Need 2013, raising an impressive £113.15.

Fundraising events that ran throughout the day included a Bake Sale, ‘Breakfast at Your Desk’ and Mario Kart Championship. The Bake Sale ran throughout the day, baked goods on sale included anything from ‘Cherry Bakewell Slices’ to ‘Cake Pops’ dipped in chocolate, with the ‘Cake Pops’ proving to be extremely popular! The Mario Kart Championship saw members of staff battling it out through several rounds of different race courses to win ‘Mario’s Gold Chocolate Coins’.

Eddie Wilkinson, Operations Director at Keytek™, said: “It was an excellent opportunity for all the staff here at Keytek™ to raise money for charity whilst having lots of fun too, especially when it came to the Mario Kart Championship!”

All money raised from each of the fundraising events will be donated to Children in Need, which will help to beat the Charity’s previous record total – the on-the-night total of over 31m raised managed to surpass last year’s 26m!
