Off-Broadway Actress Krista Jasper Appears on the GingerNewYork TV Show, New York City

NEW YORK - Nov. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- "Breaking (in) the Body", is a one-woman show based on the true events of Krista Jasper's life training for the 2008 Olympics - a coming of age story of a young gymnast who has a dream and how this dream impacts the next fourteen years of her life. The particular stories Ms. Jasper tells, correlate to the challenges she had to overcome both physically and mentally in gymnastics. As Krista Jasper tells these stories, she will actually be performing gymnastic routines on each of the events! So imagine a gymnastics competition meets a Broadway show!

Krista Jasper's quest to win the 2008 Olympics explores the relationship of a gymnast with her body, mind, and soul as gymnastics "makes and breaks" her body. The performance opens with the excitement and naivety of a child's dream that progressively transforms into a life of sacrifice, hope, failure, opportunity, and ultimately, ownership of her body.

She has appeared on Good Day New York, WNBC, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business News, Bloomberg, NY1 and WOR Radio discussing tax-related issues. She has interviewed with top financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Wealth Manager.

Ms. Broderick completed her TV Producer’s Certification at Manhattan Neighborhood Network and launched her own talk/variety show, GingerNewYork. Segments of the show are aired LIVE at the MNN studios and taped at the Gibson Guitar showroom/Rehearsal Studios in New York City.

Broderick is a faculty member of Queens College/CUNY Continuing Education Program. Broderick obtained a B.S. degree in accounting from St. John’s University in New York City and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.
