iContainers USA Attends Air Cargo & SeaCargo Americas Show & Conference

MIAMI - Nov. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- On November 6^th, 2013, iContainers was one of the hundreds of companies in attendance at the 2013 Air Cargo & SeaCargo Americas Show & Conference. In its 12^th year of existence, the show was held at the Doubletree by Hilton & Miami Airport Convention Center in Miami, Florida. Spanning from freight forwarders and shippers to customs brokers and logistics companies, over 250 exhibitors within the air and sea cargo industries were in attendance. iContainers USA utilized the event as an opportunity to connect with potential industry partners, while also making other executives in attendance aware of the freight forwarding services the company offers.

The Air Cargo & SeaCargo Americas Show & Conference was developed in 1991 with the purpose of advancing the growth of the maritime industry in the Western Hemisphere. The most recent Air Cargo & SeaCargo Americas Show & Conference, held in 2011, was the largest air cargo exhibition in the Western Hemisphere. This year’s show was approximated to have had 7,000 executives in attendance.

The conference agenda included panels and discussions about trends and updates relevant to the air cargo, maritime and logistics industries. The conference held panels on the 2014-2015 industry outlook in the Americas, 2014-2015 logistic challenges, and the future of cargo security. Panels also gave updates on airports, seaports, and the Panama Canal, as well as the progression of air & sea cargo in BRIC countries. Discussions over lunch explored how the changes to ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) regulations will affect Cargo Growth and Port Development, and the current and future strategies of brokers & forwarders.
