Entrepreneur Jack Bicer to Address Trends and Issues in Mobile Payments at TechBiz Connection Forum

By: TechBiz Connection

IRVINE, Calif. - Nov. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- TechBiz Connection and Sekur.me founder Jack Bicer will host an interactive discussion on m-commerce security issues in easy-to-understand terms covering what organizations and institutions can do to protect themselves on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the law offices of Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear in Irvine.

According to Mr. Bicer, TechBiz Connection president and mobile security expert, virtually all commuters in the major metropolitan areas of Japan use their mobile phone to pay their train fares. Globally, mobile payments will surpass $235 billion this year while Gartner predicts that 245.2 million people will make a mobile payment in 2013 (an increase of 22.1 percent from 2012).

“We are on the verge of an m-commerce revolution,” Bicer said. “I expect an imminent nationwide launch of payments by all the four major U.S. mobile carriers combined with banks, Paypal, Amazon and the Google mobile payment ecosystems. 2014 will mark the tipping point for mobile commerce.”

The November forum will discuss how businesses can prepare for the new m-commerce technology; explain the optimal m-commerce strategy; and describe what “M” merchants can do to enhance revenue generation potential while protecting themselves at the same time.

Jack Bicer is the founder of SEKUR.me, a promising mobile security and mobile payments startup. He is also the CEO of Septium, a custom web and mobile app development company.
