Opportunities for Small Women Owned Businesses!

SAYVILLE, N.Y. - Dec. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Business is tough, small business is tougher but, there really are opportunities out there!  CNA Specialties, a certified Women Owned Business, is proud to announce that it was just awarded a money grant from SCWBEC (www.SCWBEC.org), the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition.  This money can be used for equipment, networking, marketing and any other needs of a business that is crucial to its growth and CNA will do just that.

There is a lesson here for ALL small businesses though – yes you wear many hats, but you need to add one more – financial opportunities can be anywhere, but you need to look for them.  New York State Governor Cuomo is a strong proponent of Minority and Women Owned Businesses so many projects have stated goals for M/WBE’s.  There are so many resources, especially in New York State – PTAC, SBDC, SBA, LIA SB, ESD, MTA, NYC, and many more  – and all are willing to help small businesses get registered, certified, marketed and maybe even grant money.  It all helps!

Thank you once again to SCWBEC for awarding grant money to CNA Specialties – it will be put to good use and we look forward to climbing up another rung of the ladder on the way to success!
