Nov. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- The Minister was invited to unveil the £250,000 redevelopment project which saw the existing canteen area improved with a state of the art steel mezzanine floor, being built to accommodate an additional 150 pupils within the existing canteen area due to increasing pupil numbers.

The redevelopment work was project managed by Bennington Green, a multi-disciplined property consultancy with offices in Bournemouth, London, Essex and The Bahamas.

Bennington Green received instructions following a fee bid in March earlier this year, then project managed the specification and completed the works in time for the handover date of Friday 30th August 2013, with the official opening by Mr Gove a couple of months later.

Nigel Soloman, Managing Director of Bennington Green said: ”We were delighted to be approached by Tomlinscote School to oversee the project.

“We designed the scheme in a very short timescale enabling the entire project to be successfully completed within the summer holiday period.

“Our focus is very much upon enabling educational establishments to continue to deliver in an uninterrupted manner.

Mr Soloman, himself a school governor for 7 years added, “This is one of a number of high profile education projects that we are currently managing and I’m delighted that Bennington Green is able to contribute so positively to the education sector.”
