Junior Team Steals the Spotlight in Robotics Competiiton!

It’s all about robots, not the ages of the robot builders. When it comes to robotics ! competitions, nothing can stop passionate young kids from participating even if they have to compete with kids who are five or more years older than them. On Nov. 2nd, 2013, Rolling Robots Team 7700A, ranked 9th place at Southern California Vex Competition (for Middle/High School) held at El Camino College, and WON the only Judges Award for Awesome Team Per- formance and Presentation out of total 48 teams -- most of which were high school teams. Team 7700A has 5 members - Miles 10, Jack 10, Greg 10, Nathan 11 and Evan 13. With their unique competition strategy and superb performance, the Judges Award made this rookie team and their parents and mentors very proud. In addition, Rolling Robots Team 7700R won the Design Award for Excellence in Engineering and Project Management, which qualified Team 7700R for California HS VRC State Championship to be held March 13-15, 2014, in Santa Clara, CA.
