Trash Buddy Kickstarter Project

Nov. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Chances are you have had the unfortunate experience of having your garbage can lid blown open which causes a real mess on your street, or in your neighbor's yard. Or perhaps an animal has gotten into your trash and torn into it like it's their birthday.

Trash Buddy is the first patented product of its kind that will help with the problem of keeping your Trash where it belongs - in the garbage can. Trash Buddy uses shock cord stretched between 2 brackets to help keep pressure on your garbage can lid.  When your garbage can is lifted and inverted to be dumped, the pressure of the contents inside the can then force the lid open and stretch the cord out allowing it to be emptied.  It is that simple.

Part of the beauty of a Trash Buddy is that you can always leave it on, and yes that includes on garbage day, and it will still empty. It just wouldn't make sense for anyone to have to take it off to allow for the garbage to still empty out.
