FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nov. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Unlimited Marine Services, Inc. (UMSI), a full service marine technology (http://www.umsifl.com/) company, today announced that their Touch-Screen Automation Technology (T-SAT), its high-end, customizable monitor matrix system, is now even more flexible and versatile, with its enhanced feature that allows it to interface with Furuno’s most technically advanced multi-touch navigation system – the NavNet TZTouch Black Box.

Commenting on this new feature, President of Unlimited Marine Services, James Porreca said, “Since TSAT returned from Germany, our team has been working around the clock to make sure that we had this new feature ready in time for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.  TSAT was pretty cool having the capability of controlling the entire vessel from a monitor before TZTouch Black Box was integrated, but now, the system has reached another level of multi touch!  The new feature enables you to control and manipulate the Furuno TZT functions from the TSAT monitor, making it one of a kind, with the touch of a finger!”

Southeast Regional Managerof Furuno, Dean Silver, is delighted that TSAT is now an integral part of TSAT and comments, “Combining these two super high-end touch control products together is a natural integration and the result has made all monitor usage around the boat, not only a much more user-friendly experience, but with greater visibility, this will lead to better management decisions and safety”.

With TSAT combined with Furuno’s TZT system, customers can enjoy many new features, including the ability to use both raster and vector charting on the same screen, a radar that comes standard with 30 target ARPA with dual range, options from 2.2kW to 25kW, and a sounder module with options of 1, 2, or 3kW as well as CHIRP.

“T-SAT is an exciting solution for the yacht industry because it delivers much more functionality than standard routing systems,” continues James Porreca, Unlimited Marine Services’ President. “A lot of vessels have already incorporated touch screen technology, but no one else delivers this type of innovative, user-friendly interface at such a comprehensive level.”
