Loveland Laser Tag Nears Completion of Major Expansion

LOVELAND, Colo. - Nov. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Loveland Laser Tag has been making the transition from laser tag center to full family entertainment center since owner, Jeff Willy, took over the property in 2011.

The new half-million dollar expansion, which is nearing completion, will finalize the ongoing renovations that included adding a 23 ft. 4-person climbing wall last November, a laser maze challenge and arcade games with a redemption area.

The highlight of the latest renovation is an 11-element indoor Ropes Course, which will provide adventure, thrills and excitement for all ages and skill levels. With its unique safety harness system, guests stay clipped in at all times, even when transferring from one element to another.  The course has varying design and difficulty and contains 11 different challenge elements. Each element includes a different ropes configuration obstacle that presents challenges of strength, balance and agility. The course provides a thrilling experience for families to engage in physical activity while having fun!

“We’re excited about adding a new anchor attraction to stand alongside our laser tag arena,” says Willy. “We keep increasing the fun factor for our guests and providing entertainment for the entire family. That, and our exceptional staff, is what separates us from the rest.”

Not to be left out, the laser tag arena is being expanded with updated theming, which will increase the playing area by 10% while adding an exciting new element to the game. The arcade is being upgraded to include a debit card system and the café is being remodeled with a gas-fired pizza oven to offer an upgraded dining experience.  Additional seating is being added throughout and a lounge area with couches and 70” LED TV adds to the family friendly atmosphere.

Guests will notice a facelift to the entire facility when the project is complete in just a few weeks. Overall, the expansion is adding 3,500 sq. feet to the facility.  It is the perfect location for family and friends to come together in a clean, safe and fun environment. The mix of attractions also makes Loveland Laser Tag a perfect ‘Staycation’ location for the local and surrounding areas.  You don’t have to go far or pay too much for a two- or three- hour escape that’s affordable, yet memorable.

In June 2013, Willy left his job of thirteen years as a programmer and operations manager in R&D with Hewlett-Packard Co. in Fort Collins, CO, so he could dedicate his time to Loveland Laser Tag and his new position as the Vice President of Laserforce USA. Willy will be in charge of Laserforce’s new US office and assembly plant that is adjacent to Loveland Laser Tag.
