When I am doing Project for my doctorate, I decide to do something different. For that I select Plumbing Technology, especially, about the Plumbing Pipes. When I decided to do this, I fixed about the following is my major one. That is none other than the Advantages of Plumbing Pipes. I thought it was very easy to do. But when I was in field I realized about that factors. There was lot of products I researched under Plumbing Pipes. Among them I really liked to work with PPR Pipes and PPR Fittings. When I researched about PPR Pipes and Fittings, it was very useful in my personal life also. Because of its advantages I really impressed with them and used in my home. From that research, I came to know the following factors. It is widely used for cold and hot water system in both residential and industrial area. Because it have Minimum 50 Years life span in temperature up to 80°C. It has low thermal penetrability.

It also shows high resistance in chemicals. Also it has good resistance in mechanic strength, with based on its elasticity. It also maintain in very low temperature also. To research about these factors I really amazed, because when I compared to steel and other plastic pipes like PVC , UPVC  and so on, I came to know that it have high life span and good elastic Properties. These pipes have smooth internal surface which provides less friction. So that, it can offers heavy flow. PPR Pipes are rust resistant. It reduces the cost of handling as well as transportation. It is hygiene and it has low bacterial growth. It is also resistant to high temperature. It is widely used in Air Plants, Agriculture, Horticulture, Industries, Liquid Foods, Solar Plants, Swimming Pools, Rain Water utilization systems and residential Houses.

It have food grade. It is highly reliable. This is known as a green building material though it available in Blue, Red, Grey and White. Due to its food grade, many can use for pure water pipe lines. These PPR Pipes and PPR Fittings have smooth inside and outside, this provides beautiful look. Generally it produced in Soft Colors; this also gives some attraction to buildings. PPR Pipes and PPR Fittings have very high impact strength.

This factor can eliminate the possibility of breakage and crack formation. To compare steel or any other plumbing pipes or irrigation pipes or chiller pipes, it is light weight. And the major and the main advantage is it keeps pure water as pure water always. It is also certified by National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), in USA. Also it is certified by International Standards. When we compare to other plumbing pipes, it can take little bit cost in high, but it can avoid insulation and installation cost. Now European industries are widely used PPR Pipes. When I completed my project, I can really proud to work about PPR Pipes. That is the first Plastic Product which I heard is food grade and safe for liquid foods.
