By: Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort A 20-year ski and snowboard industry veteran, Lange has extensive experience managing the daily operations, staff and training programs for award-winning resorts. Most recently he served as snowboard instructor/trainer at The Burton Snowboard Academy at Northstar Resort. Lange also managed the ski and snowboard school for Alpine Meadows Ski Resort in Tahoe City, Calif. And he currently serves as lead examiner/snowboarding executive vice president for the Western Division of Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors, for which he was appointed to the board of directors in April 2012. Lange has been a member of the American Association of Snowboard Instructors since 1994. “As Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resorts continues to grow and expand to serve a growing population of skiers and riders, it’s critical for us to bring aboard leaders with industry-leading ideas,” said Dan Hooper, director of skier/rider services; Lange reports direct to Hooper. “Lange has exceptional experience establishing and innovating programs that result in an enhanced guest experience.
