Achievement Week recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions toward improving the quality of life for African Americans. "The men of Omega Psi Phi asked if we could partner on an event that focuses on art and social change,” Andrea Price, Executive Director of the Giving Net, said. "So, our team decided to produce a short film on the role of literature as a tool for social change during the Harlem Renaissance." The film highlights the history of Harlem, prominent figures in the movement and the significance of the literature produced during the Harlem Renaissance. The event is free and open to the public.
