Delegates attending will be given insights into the latest methods for cable installation to ensure the reliability and performance of subsea power cables over the life of an offshore wind farm. Speakers will be drawing on past experiences to cover topical issues including: o The latest cable condition monitoring techniques for reduced repair costs o The impact of dynamic rating upon power output from an OFTO’s perspective o Reducing costs during R3: are free hanging cables a viable option? A total of eighteen sessions will be covered over the course of two days, and a Condition Monitoring Workshop has also been announced for the 12th February. Led by experts from NKT Cables and Wirescan, the workshop will give acomprehensive guide to the latest monitoring techniques to enable a preventative maintenance strategy and enhanced cable capacity.
