By: Rimonim Art Gallery This highly anticipated show will open at the gallery Thursday, November 14 and continue through December 20. The show, curated by Dennys Matos, will present 12 bronze sculptures, representative of Gerenstein last years of work. A catalogue will be available to our visitors. Gerenstein distinctive style has elements of objectual poetry blended with the subtle, occasional utilization of anthropomorphic figures to emphasize the social message of her works. Over the past few years Gerenstein has developed a series of exhibitions that led her to be national and internationally recognized. Her public sculpture “Harmony” was installed at Wanjia Plaza, Shanghai, China. It was made in entirely in bronze; its height is 23 feet and weighs 11,000 pounds.It is considered by many one of the most beautiful monuments in the city. http://www.youtube.com/ The gallery will be open Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
