Telcare Named Honoree of the 2014 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award

NEW YORK - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Telcare, Inc (http://www.telcare.com/). has been named an International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Awards (http://www.cesweb.org/innovations) health and fitness honoree by the Consumer Electronics Association for the Telcare Blood Glucose Monitoring System powered by the Verizon network. The annual award, sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association, honors consumer technology manufacturers and developers who design and engineer products across 29 categories.

Telcare’s Blood Glucose Monitoring System is a revolutionary diabetes management system that transmits glucose values instantly to a secure server where patients and their physicians can easily access the information. Automated and doctor-directed guidance is simultaneously displayed on the meter, on patients’ and their loved ones’ phones, and on a secure patient portal. The data from Telcare’s meter can also go directly to the medical records of any doctor that the patient selects.
