Anti-Bullying “Spokesband,” Sibling Rivalry, Croons for a Cause

TROY, Ohio - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Teen bullying victims now have a voice, thanks to a new partnership forged by One Call Now. The message notification provider recently signed Sibling Rivalry, a Magnolia, Texas group to be the official “spokesband” for their Safe School Helpline®. The program’s theme song is Sibling Rivalry’s new track “No Medicine Can Heal,” which describes a student’s struggle with a school bully.

Sibling Rivalry is brother-sister duo Mitchell and Olivia Butaud, an acoustic country duo who claim Little Big Town, The Band Perry, and Zac Brown Band as influences. They garnered national attention as one of 15 bands to compete on the COZI TV music reality show "Next Great Family Band.”

Now, Safe School Helpline® users will have the chance to bring Sibling Rivalry to their own home towns. In 2014, One Call Now will hold a “Rally for Safer Schools” contest. New schools to enroll with the Safe School Helpline®, as well as schools that already participate, will be entered to win an anti-bullying pep rally sponsored by One Call Now, including an exclusive performance by Sibling Rivalry. Entry details and rally dates will be announced in early 2014.

Sibling Rivalry’s Mitchell and Olivia have already achieved impressive successes for their respective 19 and 14 years: they have performed at Texas venues such as House of Deréon, Main Street Crossing, Dosey Doe The Big Barn and Dosey Doe Music Café. In Nashville, Tennessee, they have taken the stage at several venues including the famed Bluebird Café.
