African Leadership Magazine Announces Forum- Atlanta Georgia

ATLANTA - Nov. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia, November 11, 2013:  The forthcoming “Investing in Nigeria’s Non Oil Sectors Forum”, billed to hold 16, November 2013 will be held at the swanky, “W” Downtown Hotel, 45 Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard, Atlanta GA 30308.

The events theme: "Unlocking Nigeria’s untapped Investment Potentials for Development" is designed to bring together policy makers, investors, as well as other stakeholders in Nigeria’s Non-Oil Sectors to showcase the vast, but untapped investment potentials of these sectors to the international investing public. The event will also draw the attention of American businesses and institutional investors to the huge investment potentials in Nigeria’s Non-oil sectors of the economy so as to promote foreign direct investments into the Nigerian economy – Africa’s largest market.

This forum is put together by the African Leadership Magazine group as part of its efforts to boost the bilateral trade relations between the United States and their Nigeria. The event will have in attendance, Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Alh. Ramalan Yero and the Honorable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Sen. Bala Mohammed, and other key political, diplomatic and Business leaders from Nigeria and the State of Georgia, who have been invited.

The visiting Nigerian delegation will tour the Georgia state capitol, Corporate and Eco-Center Tour, followed by a visit to the historic King Center- Visitor Center, Historic Ebenezer, Crypt, Freedom Hall culminating with a visit to the CNN corporate and Studio Tour.

High points of the gala event shall be the presentation of special commendation awards to Minister, Sen. Bala Mohammed, Georgia state Senator, Donzella James along with several other deserving individuals, groups, and companies, who have contributed to the growth and development of investment in Nigeria.

The Keynote address will be delivered by the honorable Amb. Prof. Ade Adefuye – Nigeria’s Ambassador to the US.

A special presentation of Honorary Citizenship, prepared by Georgia’s Secretary of State, a Senate Resolution commending the Minister’s developmental strides, will be presented by veteran Senators, Ronald Ramsey and Donzella James.

This brand of fusing government and entertainment, presented by the African Leadership Magazine, who’s main offices’ are headquartered in the United Kingdom and Abuja Africa, and who has a distribution of well over 480 thousand in readership daily, is not new to Atlanta by far. African Leadership Magazine has made several visits to the city in hopes of vetting other like minded business and legislators’, to take a look at what Africa as a whole, has to offer by way of trade and other business commodities and investment opportunity showcases and forums.

The Awards Gala & Dinner which is a unique gathering and robust networking platform to mark the end of the 2 day trade mission from Nigeria to Atlanta, will feature a pre reception featuring musical selections by award winning R&B artist and dancer- The Queen of Dance "B Angie B" and hosted by La Ron Harlem of NORAL DECARLO Haberdasher and Colour Me Blind Artist.

The gala’s Master of Ceremony will be the celebrity voice of Atlanta’s own, Mr. Vince Bailey and will be heightened with sprays of entertainment in honor of the Nigerian delegation by the daughter of the all-time legendary bluesman, BB King, Ms. Claudette”the Bluz Queen” King as well as celebrity fashion entertainment presented by Wilbourn Sisters Designs to honor Her Excellency, Hajia Mrs. Aisha Bala Mohammed and her works as the Founder and Chair person of Al-Muhibbah Foundation.  Al-Muhibbah is an Arabic word meaning LOVE.
