Quill hires Bloomberg Europe's Head of TV and Digital Video Malcolm Fried as Operations Director

LONDON - Nov. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Malcolm Fried, Head of Europe TV and Digital Video at Bloomberg, joins pioneering content marketing company, Quill. He joins as Operations Director after 13 years at Bloomberg, including a period as Head of Text News for Europe, following Quill's successful closure of £1 million of investment earlier this year.

Fried will have responsibility for all aspects of the editorial function at Quill, ensuring recruitment and retention of the best global talent through the implementation of writer performance management capabilities and automation.

He will ensure that Quill’s operational development - in terms of its writer network, the volume of content produced and the number of languages and types of media it covers – continues to meet Quill’s efficiency and quality standards as it grows.

Fried will report to Quill CEO, Ed Bussey who said: “Malcolm is a hugely valuable addition to the team, as we continue on a path of rapid growth.
