Oceanside Elks Invite Community for Thanksgiving Dinner

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - Nov. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Oceanside, CA:  The Elks Club of Oceanside, California has invited the community to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 28^th at noon to 2 PM.  The cost for the full Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey and the trimmings, is only $12.  “We have a wonderful facility in Oceanside that is perfectly suited for a function like this where neighbors, families and friends can gather for a traditional holiday dinner.” states Oceanside Elks President, Dan Bourg.  “We have a very long history of serving the community and this is just one more opportunity for us to give thanks and encourage others to join us in service to the area.”  Tickets are available at the Elks Lodge.

The Elks are an organization with a 145 year history of service to the community with lodges in all 50 states and overseas.  The lodges bring so much more to the community than just a building, golf course or pool.  They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals and children grow up.  Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.  The Elks sponsor worthy causes like the Boys Scouts, Veteran’s organizations, local schools and organizations.
