CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Nov. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- OutdoorGearLab.com recently unveiled the results of the 2013 -2014 Editors’ Choice Awards for Women's Sleeping Bags, listing this year’s best and best value for down and synthetic models. The OutdoorGearLab Review Editors chose the winners after extensive field testing in the High Sierra backcountry and the Utah Desert. Seven women's sleeping bags were subjected to head-to-head tests in order to determine which ones performed best in the following categories: warmth, weight, comfort, packed size, features, and versatility. Research was conducted to reveal the differences between a unisex or a men's sleeping bag and a women's specific design, and it was evaluated if it is worth it for a woman to purchase a female specific bag.
