Two year old UFO group now has 10,000 members worldwide

TUCSON, Ariz. - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Arizona based World UFO Group (WUFOG) has announced that it has now acquired 10,000+ members. These members include both groups and individuals worldwide on six continents.

"I have been in the UFO research field since 1967 and, to my knowledge, I can't recall any other UFO group that has reached the 10,000 member level, especially when the group has been around for only two years" said Allen Benz, Lead Organizer for World UFO Group.

World UFO Group was created in November, 2011 by Pablo C. Drake and Michelle Wong.

"Our goal and mission at WUFOG is to be a global information exchange and to avoid speculation as much as possible about the UFO subject. We envision a future in which UFOs go beyond mere speculation to become part of daily life", Benz said.

In collaboration with the World UFO Day Organization (WUFODO), based in the Netherlands, WUFOG co-sponsors World UFO Day on July 2 of each year. This event is meant to raise awareness of the UFO phenomenon, acknowledge its reality as a worldwide occurrence and encourage the governments of the world to do the same by official disclosure, Benz stated.
