Known as a PSA-Active Directory Sync Tool, ConnectActive works by populating a company's ConnectWise contacts – both on-premise and in the Cloud – and seamlessly updating all of the information with each clients' Active Directory users. Once the information is synchronized and updated, it uses an Integrator to connect to a user's PSA API, retrieve contact information and provide a results page that offers customization of matches and options for clients and contacts to ignore.

Designed with convenience in mind, ConnectActive will synchronize an individual's contact information from Active Directory to the ConnectWise client database. It will also flag accounts that are unused for over 30 days with an unused icon and will automatically deactivate accounts that are disabled or missing in Active Directory, which comes with an option for daily scheduling in order to ensure it has the most recent, fully up-to-date information.

ConnectActive also includes features such as automatically updating Company Agreement Additions based on active Active Directory Accounts, which helps ensure contracts are being properly charged based on the active user count.
