SALT LAKE CITY - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- In an effort to hire 375 long-term career opportunities at its Salt Lake City Facility, C3/CustomerContactChannels (C3), a global provider of customer management solutions, teamed up with the Angel’s Hands Foundation (AHF)), an organization dedicated to raising money to help Utah families of children with rare diseases deal with everyday struggles.

The promotion, which began September 25th, provided AHF $100 for every applicant hired up to the first 100 hires.  It didn’t take long to reach the goal and legendary Utah Jazz great, Mark Eaton, was on hand to help C3 present the check to AHF founder and president, Mark Kristensen.

“This was a very special day for C3 and AHF,” said Melanie Halverson, C3’s SLC Site Director.  “What a joy it was to present AHF with our donation and have one of Utah’s favorite citizens on hand to participate in the festivities.”

Halverson stressed that there are still a number of career opportunities at C3 and suggested anyone interested should apply at C3’s Making A Difference (MAD House) training center on the lake adjacent to the call center which is located 5205 Wiley Post Way, Salt Lake City,

All positions are fulltime, regular opportunities,” said Melanie Halverson, C3’s SLC Site Director.  “Aside from highly-competitive pay rates and benefits we offer complete paid training and a true career path through leadership coaching.  C3 University prepares employees for promotional opportunities and in fact, 90 percent of our supervisors come from within.”

“What a remarkable day in the life of AHF,” said Kristensen.  “We get to partner with one of Salt Lake City’s great corporate citizens, receive much need funds and have one of the NBA’s greatest participate in the event.  It doesn’t get much better than that.”

Halverson said that they are delighted to also help AHF which supports families in a variety of ways including assisting them with medical expenses by paying off lingering medical bills and purchasing medical equipment not covered by insurance.

“Even with benefits, these families often struggle to give their children some of the simple joys in life; hearing aids, wheel chairs, specialty strollers, special beds, braces, therapy spas, specialty bicycles, air conditioning and air filtration systems, special bath tubs, and many other items have been given to our children, “said Mark Kristensen, founder and President of AHF.

Independent research has demonstrated that children with a CASA volunteer are substantially less likely to spend time in long-term foster care (http://www.casaforchildren.org/site/c.mtJSJ7MPIsE/b.53013...) and less likely to reenter care.
