WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Amanda Lindhout joins M&V team to unveil inaugural issue at launch party

M&V Publishing unveiled their inaugural issue of Muses & Visionaries Magazine (http://magazinemv.com)at an exclusive launch party on November 1, 2013, at 1016 Clare Ave. in West Palm Beach, FL.  The event introduced more than 1,000 guests to the publication and M&V cover girl Amanda Lindhout.

The publication brings to life M&V’s goal of “Inspiring Women to Create a Life Well Lived.” By providing meaningful and creative advice, knowledge and inspiration, M&V serves as a guide for women’s daily lives, encouraging them to make a change, learn something new, reach their true potential and advise them on their journey.

“From the beginning, we wanted to create a magazine unlike any other publication by thoughtfully telling stories that resonate with every woman. M&V is a place where readers feel inspired, informed, nurtured and impacted,” said Editor in Chief Amy Lagae.

The M&V teamwith partners Roy Assad, Erin Rossitto, Amy Lagae and Molly Greene attended the launch event, designed by Bruce Sutka and David Negri. The party drew a variety of guests, including up-and-coming Palm Beach society, grand dames and a multitude of area business owners and professionals. Tennis player Venus Williams, Congresswoman Lois Frankel and M&V's cover girl Amanda Lindhout were also in attendance. Lindhout is a freelance journalist who was kidnapped and held for 460 days in Somalia. She recently released her story in the memoir A House in the Sky, co-written with New York Times Magazine writer Sara Corbett. The book details Lindhout’s experiences in captivity and her triumphant life with the Global Enrichment Foundation today.
