Consulting Alliance Honors Nancy Schultz with Founder's Award

Nancy Schultz of Nancy Schultz Consulting, Inc., was honored with an award recognizing her leadership in the Consulting Alliance.
 
ALBANY, N.Y. - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The Consulting Alliance honored Nancy Schultz of Nancy Schultz Consulting, Inc., with the James P. Faughnan Founder’s Award. The award recognizes individual consultants who, by their continuous efforts for the benefit of all members of the Consulting Alliance, their clients and the community at large, embody the spirit of Faughnan’s vision for the continued growth of the Consulting Alliance.

In presenting the award, Consulting Alliance President Robert Braathe of Braathe Enterprises said: “Nancy Schultz has been an integral part of the Consulting Alliance since its inception over 20 years ago.  As past president, and my predecessor, she has played an integral leadership role in developing and nurturing the continued growth of camaraderie and collaboration of The Consulting Alliance.  The Faughnan Award clearly exemplifies these traits, and Nancy is the embodiment of the spirit of the award.”

In accepting the award, Schultz said: “As a charter member of the Consulting Alliance, I had the pleasure of knowing Jim Faughnan. He had a vision, and we have exceeded his wildest dream. We should all be congratulated.”

A resident of Copake Lake, NY, Schultz has over 25 years of experience facilitating business process improvements for the private sector, not-for-profits, government and higher education. She helps clients develop operational strategies, reengineer business processes and retain their institutional knowledge by documenting plans, training materials and electronic knowledge bases.

Prior to establishing her consulting practice, Schultz spent 17 years with General Electric’s Innovative Plastics Division specializing in Customer Service and Inventory Management. She was a key contributor to the Customer Service restructuring project at G.E. that was highlighted in the book Thriving On Chaos by Tom Peters.

Schultz holds an Executive MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BA from SUNY Plattsburgh in behavioral science. She served two terms (2011 and 2012) as President of the Consulting Alliance and is a current member of the Board of Directors.
