Follow on Google News | "Leadership, Teamwork -- and You!" New Ride Magazine Column by Coach Gary Micheloni Equine IRLeadership and teamwork is the theme of a new column in Ride Magazine, which is partnering with Coach Gary Micheloni of Equine IR & United Infrared to help encourage the equine industry, from horse owners to ranchers, through the difficult economy.
A coach using a dog to teach life lessons to a bunch of horse owners? "That's how we roll!" says 'Coach Gary' Micheloni, a veteran magazine column, and book author. "As a writer, I'm primarily a storyteller. That's the best way to teach--the most interesting way--isn't it?" Micheloni has the credentials: Combining his storytelling style with his flair for writing, he especially enjoys speaking for groups. "Everything from construction trade associations to church congregations...local or national", he says. His favorite topics: construction project management, team leadership and even to a type of Bible presenting and storytelling he calls 'Scripturetelling'. His connection with RideMagazine.com began with the creation of a still-running column called 'Coach Gary's EquineIR Corner', which is all about the effective utilization of infrared thermal imaging to help horse owners and vets to better understand issues with their horses. That column has several articles which are great resources for horse owners and healers. The column is closely affiliated with Equine IR. The EquineIR Corner has posted case studies from the various equine thermography members of United Infrared's 'EquineIR' group: thermographers who specialize in the thermal imaging scan of horses to help determine cause of injury. Equally as important, UI's members provide 'saddle fit' services, which help horse owners ensure that the saddles on their horses are working as intended, and not causing injury or pain. More information on the various classes taught by United Infrared is available at its office: 888-722-6447, or at http://www.equineir.com. The idea behind the network of infrared equine specialists is this: Get the answers you need to take corrective action for your horse from United Infrared's team of certified thermographers, who can provide a local service so your investment in your horse's health is reasonable--and includes a veterinary interpretation. Info on types of services and even about the requirements for becoming an Equine IR technician , can be found at http://www.unitedinfrared.com. Licensed veterinarians and practicing farriers head up the interpretation arm of the service. This methodology has been developed and refined over the past twenty-five years and has been proven to be an effective imaging technique useful for veterinarians in the diagnosing of conditions. United Infrared actually has a video available showing the equine infrared process. Click here to 'sit in' on that class>>> http://www.youtube.com/ End
