AccessData Continues Growth And Investment In APAC Region With Key Directorial Appointment

Strategic move to support growing demand for company’s CIR solutions and Professional Services

Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- LINDON, UTAH / SINGAPORE – November 7, 2013 -AccessData (http://www.accessdata.com/), a pioneer of digital and mobile investigations, cyber security and litigation support solutions, today announced the appointment of Keith Miller as Director of International Professional Services for Asia Pacific (APAC) region, shortly after the company’s appointment of a new ASEAN regional manager.

The move is part of AccessData’s expansion plans for APAC, investing especially in ANZ and ASEAN as it anticipates significant growth driven not only by demand for its technical solutions but also by the strong demand for the company’s professional services and training capabilities.

Miller will be tasked with fulfilling the demand for professional services with AccessData’s major customers in the region and report to Simon Whitburn, Senior Vice President and General Manager, International Markets.

Born in New Zealand, Miller looks back at a stellar officer career in the armed forces of his home country and later the UK, spanning over two decades. He brings with him strong experience across a variety of areas including military police intelligence, delivery of cyber crime and intelligence functions and system delivery for key military functions on an international level.

Miller’s assignment in the region follows the recent appointment of Jeremy Ho, formerly from Symantec, as AccessData’s ASEAN Regional Manager based in Singapore leading the company’s regional sales efforts. Other recent hirings include Inside Sales Representative for Southeast Asia and North Asia Geannie Tan, Sales Engineer for Asia Pacific Matthew Green who manages the technical services for existing and prospective customers, and Senior International Technical Account Manager Jonathan Shorter.

Keith Miller

Director International Professional Services


Keith Miller was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 1971 and spent the first 10 years of his life in Singapore and Malaysia. Educated at Kings College in Auckland, Keith spent 3 years in the New Zealand Army before moving to England in 1992. Keith Miller graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Dec 1995 and spent the first 2 years as the Assistant Adjutant of 1 STAFFORDS spending time in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

After completing his Military Police Officers Course Keith was posted as the Operations Officer 150 Provost Company, during which he spent 6 months as the Intelligence Officer for the Military Police in Bosnia. Keith was then posted as the Operations Officer 6 Regiment Royal Military Police in Northern Ireland in 1999 prior to attending Junior Division Command and Staff College. He then took over as Staff Officer Grade 3 Military Police Operations at the Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC), in Rheindahlen. From Germany he assumed the post of Second in Command of 156 Provost Company for 2 years in 2002 during the initial phases of Operation TELIC (Iraq) prior to attending the Advanced Information Systems Masters at the Royal Military College of Science Shrivenham. Promoted to Major in 2004 Keith assumed the appointment of Staff Officer Grade 2 Command and Battlespace Management, responsible for all Military Police Communication Information Systems (CIS) activity; during this time he spent 6 months working in J5 Plans at the Multi National Security Transition Command Iraq (MNSTC-I) in Baghdad under General Petraeus (US Army). Following Iraq Major Miller was posted to another CIS job in the Command Support Development Centre in Blandford and charged with running the capability integration and delivery of the ARRC Command and Control Information System (ARRC C2IS) working with DEC CCII, DE&S and Industry. Towards the end of this tour Major Miller deployed to Afghanistan and was responsible for the entire UK Manning and Force Level Reviews for the HERRICK theatre. Major Miller commanded 150 Provost Company RMP from April 2008 to Dec 2010, deploying the unit on Op HERRICK 12 with 4th Mechanised Brigade to Afghanistan. Keith assumed command of the Service Police Crime Bureau in Dec 2010 until Aug 2013 responsible for the delivery of all serious Cyber Crime and Intelligence functions for the Royal Military Police. Keith assumed the position of Director International Professional Services for AccessData in August 2013.

Keith enjoys all outdoor activities; Paragliding, Rugby and Canoeing to name a few. He also hopes to be able to get a few rounds of golf when not travelling throughout the AccessData International arena. He is married with 3 children.
