CHICAGO - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- On November 2nd, 2013 The BOSS (Bringing Out Successful Sisters) Network presented its 2nd ANNUAL POWER PROFESSIONALS “WOMEN’S SUCCESS SERIES” held at Chicago’s premier event space, Society Art Gallery located at 2140 W. Fulton Ave. The annual event was designed to give Chicago professional career women and entrepreneurs insight from other successful women in business on how to balance it all and build a great brand. The more than 100 female attendees and 20 UIC CHANCE program students benefited from the professional influencers, featured speaker and host who enlightened their minds and created a vision of passion, purpose and perseverance.

Hosting this year’s event was Cameka Smith, CEO & FOUNDER of THE BOSS NETWORK. The evenings featured speaker was Althea McIntyre- Founder and CEO, The Best Career For Me and key influencers included; Mitzi Miller- Editor-In-Chief, Jet Magazine; Pam Redwood- President and Co-Founder, Signature Media Group Speakers; Shay Dorr- CEO and Co-Founder, Direct Hire Group, Inc.; Tarrah Cooper- Press Secretary, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel; andsponsored by U.S. Cellular and Jet Magazine.

Each attendee received a complimentary copy of the ‘7 Steps to Grow Your Professional Network’ by Cameka Smith, were able to meet on-site recruiters to learn about job opportunities, hear from expert professionals on how to get that winning career, and learned secrets for success to become a savvy business woman.

While gaining this useful knowledge, guests enjoyed delectable bites and an all night wine tasting provided by Creative Mobile Cuisine and Pour It Again Sam. Ladies were offered professional makeup applications supplied by Big Girl Cosmetics founder Kiley Russell and staff in preparation for their onsite camera interviews with media maven LuTonya Lang-Russell of Industry Buzzz.

Concluding the event, 20 sensational female entrepreneurs registered with BOSS onsite networking specialists; making these attendees the newest career and entrepreneurial women to join the more than 1,800 current BOSS members worldwide on a quest for professional success.
