Miss Devon and the Young Devon charity join forces

TORQUAY, U.K. - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- An extraordinary occasion took place at Babbacombe Model Village on Wednesday 6th November 2013 when Miss Devon and Local Businesses joined forces to work with, encourage and support local charity Young Devon.
The current Miss Devon, Leanne Ward, who resides in Plymouth and representatives from the Young Devon charity met the press, took part in a fun joint photo opportunity then celebrated the launch of this unique collaboration by enjoying a lovely cream tea, courtesy of Babbacombe Model Village.
Young Devon's primary objective since 1949 has been to enhance the lives and promote opportunities for those least likely to have their voices heard. The Miss Devon organisation is delighted to support this great charity and all contestants in Miss Devon 2014 will be raising funds which will support the lives of the young people the charity works with.
In the course of the next few months the Miss Devon organisation will be working on projects that Miss Devon will be undertaking in support of  Young Devon.
