Contentworker Announces Integration with Open Text eDOCS Product

ATLANTA - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Traen AB, developer of the SharePoint based document management product Contentworker, announced today the availability of an integration with the OpenText eDOCS document management product line.

The Contentworker eDOCS integration will provide eDOCS users with an “out of the box” SharePoint based extranet solution.  The solution is focused on the extranet needs of law firms that would like to use eDOCS for their internal document management while allowing external document sharing and collaboration with their clients via a SharePoint based platform.  The product eliminates the need for law firms having to custom develop their own extranet application on SharePoint – now they can deploy a product that creates a feature rich environment for external document and matter based information sharing.

The product can also be used by law firms as an internal Knowledge Worker solution if document authors would like to use eDOCS for high volume document production and internal Knowledge Workers would prefer a SharePoint based document consumer interface.

Contentworker integrates with the OpenText/SeeUnity synchronization product line to provide secure and robust document synchronization between eDOCS and SharePoint. Documents can be synchronized in both directions and selected based on pre-defined rules or ad-hoc.  Synchronized documents will move seamlessly between the eDOCS and SharePoint environments as needed.

The eDOCS integration module will be sold separately than the standard Contentworker Document Management Product and will be priced and packaged as a pure extranet solution.  The Contentworker product line is available to North American customers through an authorized reseller channel.
