Donation for Colorado Flood Relief through CARHOF

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - Nov. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The Conditioning Classroom in Centennial, Colorado concluded their month-long fund-raising event called Woctober with great success!  30 people committed to increasing their personal activity levels by walking during the month.  For each participant that signed up, The Conditioning Classroom donated $5.  If the participant walked at least 20 miles during the month, the donation was doubled to $10.  And if the participant walked at least 1 mile each day for a total of 31 miles, the donation was doubled again to $20.  Almost half of all those participating reached the top level and The Conditioning Classroom was able to donate $400 to victims of the epic flooding that occurred in September of this year.  The entire amount will be kept in Colorado and will go to help those affected rebuild and restore their homes.  The Conditioning Classroom chose CARHOF, or Colorado Association of Realtors Housing Opportunity Foundation because of their commitment to use 100% of the proceeds to Colorado victims.  "Everyone that participated knew that they were not only positively impacting their own health, but each step mattered to their neighbors in Lyons and Boulder and Estes Park," said Dianne Bailey, owner and trainer at The Conditioning Classroom.  "We even had some former clients in Pennsylvania and in West Virginia participate! And we walked almost 1200 extra miles in October."
