Cultural Arts Alliance Presents Flutterby Arts Festival

DESTIN, Fla. - Nov. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Gulf Place on 30A will present "Taste of the Beach After Dark" on Friday, November 1st. This special event will be held from 7pm-10pm with signature cocktails, wine, local cuisine, and live music. On Saturday, down the road in Seaside, Seeing Red Wine Festival will be held from 1pm-4pm. Guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting and live music with food provided by local restaurants. The festival finale will be held at the Great Southern Cafe on Sunday morning in Central Square. Sparkling wine from around the world will be available along with great food and music. Overnight accommodations can be made at nearby rentals in the Seaside area with GRS Beach Rentals.

Caliza Pool and Restaurant, a popular 30A hot spot, will host an annual "Savor the Season" fundraiser on Wednesday, November 6th. Guests will enjoy wine and cuisine by local chefs of Seagar's Steaks and Seafood, Stinky's Fish Camp, and V Seagrove, among many others. This event benefits the Taylor Haugen Foundation and will include silent and live auctions.

Flutterby Arts Festival is a popular children's event held annually in Rosemary Beach with free admission. It will be hosted by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County on November 9th and 10th. The activity packed weekend will include live music, story-telling, face painting, and much more. The "Cottages for Kids" 2013 collection of designer playhouses will be featured this year and the East Long Green will be open every weekend in November for visitors to enjoy.

South Barrett Square will welcome the holidays with a tree lighting event at 6pm on November 29th. As Rosemary Beach is lit up, town merchants will open for holiday shopping. Then on November 30th at Town Hall, Santa's Workshop will be open for visitors until 10am. Vendor booths will be set up for more holiday shopping until 5pm with unique arts, crafts, and jewelry for purchase.
