Atlanta Airport hosts Exhibition of Acclaimed Photographs “Journey of Giants, Whales in the City"

ATLANTA - Nov. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- “Journey of Giants, Whales in the City”, is the compilation of years of work by photographers at the Albatros Media Foundation, a Panama based, non-profit organization which seeks to increase awareness about sustainable development in the Americas. Albatros Media Foundation has a longstanding commitment to collecting and presenting award winning photographic and television programming works in more than 600 television stations and universities throughout Latin America.

“Journey of Giants” was chosen out of 250 submissions by curators at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport”, said Alejandro Balaguer, Executive Director of Albatros Media Foundation. According to airport statistics, around 250,000 people will transit by the exhibition daily during the two months that it will be on display, which coincides with the busiest time at the airport, the Holiday Season.

The exhibition began in Panama in 2012 and it will make a stop at every one of the 11 Latin American countries, which make up the Buenos Aires Group of the International Whaling Commission. Albatros Media Foundation hopes to inspire audiences to become agents of change and environmental awareness in the Americas.
