Philly, I H♥te You (A Love Story) is a collaborative independent feature comprised of a series of short films, in the vein ofParis, je t’aime and New York, I Love You, but with a distinctly Philly bent.While each short will be created by a different Philadelphia- Philly, I H♥te You will highlight different characters, characteristics, and neighborhoods of our fair (and sometimes unfair) city using comedy, drama, documentary, horror, and music as a vehicle. The short films include: A documentary about Philadelphia Cab Drivers A dramatic look into a family torn by their sports team affiliations A Vampire horror flick set against Philly Beer Week A drama that looks at the MOVE bombings of 1985 through the eyes of a young boy who watches it all go down from his bedroom window A dark comedy about a woman who encounters a different form of street harassment as she wonders from neighborhood to neighborhood Jere Paolini is a Philadelphia- With a degree in Writing for Film & Television from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Jere has written two feature-length screenplays and numerous shorts, as well as articles and film criticism for a variety of publications, including two one five magazine. This is his first feature film. End
