Westchase Veterinary Center leads the way in innovative veterinary care

Tampa animal hospital reinvents itself as a full-scale medical facility

TAMPA, Fla. - Nov. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Acupuncture, orthopedic surgery, chiropractic adjustments: these may not be services that come to mind when discussing care for animals, but the team at Westchase Veterinary Center is modernizing veterinary care by providing the community with a one-stop-shop for high quality care for pets.

“I brought [my dog Murphy] to [Westchase] because he seemed to be suffering from his usual hip pain and I wanted to get him his normal pain medications,” said Ned H. “To our surprise, Murphy had a tumor that was found because the doctor felt an abnormal lump near his chest and did an ultrasound. Murphy went into surgery the next day and they found an 11lb growth around his spleen. Even though I was a first time visitor to the office, Dr. Nichole Reyes stayed late to do the ultrasound and then contacted the team at the emergency vet to setup Murphy’s transfer for surgery.”

Recognized in the community as an emergency animal facility, Westchase has hand-picked highly experienced and specialized veterinarians to rebrand itself as a full-scale medical facility to assist pet care needs during normal business hours as well as after. They are available to see your pets for regular exams and vaccines, spays, neuters, dentals, declaws, etc. as well as any emergency that could arise.  For those clients with difficulties bringing their pets in to the office, house-calls are also available.

“There is no standard medical plan that will fit the needs of every pet”, said Dr. Megan Mota. “We work hard to provide each and every animal we treat with a customized care approach to help them live a long and healthy life. Whether an exotic animal or a companion pet, Westchase is committed to doing everything we can to better the quality of life for the animals in the greater Tampa community.”  With the addition of Dr. Molly Barr, associate vet, Dr. Colby Burns, board certified surgeon, and Dr. Vindhya Cianelli, Certified Holistic/Acupuncturist, Westchase Veterinary can now offer many more services than ever before.

Westchase Veterinary Center offers general wellness care, oral and dental care, pain management, surgeries, digital whole body and dental X-rays, acupuncture, food therapy, canine chiropractic adjustments as well as advanced pet care such as dermatology, ultrasounds and much more.
