New London based ECN FX & Spread Betting Broker - Launch

Nov. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- London, 5 November 2013 – Atom8, a new London-based electronic communications network (ECN) FX broker, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, has launched a new FX trading platform and algorithmic toolkit allowing institutional and private traders to interact in the same market. Atom8 launches its platform this Friday at the London World Money Show, 08-10 November 2013, Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Stand 906 and opens the presentations with a speech on Automated Trading by former J.P. Morgan lawyer and Atom8 founder, David Andrews, Friday 08th November at 1pm.

For the first time, an FX broker offers ‘raw spread’ spread betting, FX/CFD accounts, free automated algorithmic coding services for private clients, as well as customisable multi-currency PAMM facilities, FIX API and an anonymous multi-API-configured ECN access for institutions, all in a low-latency environment.

The new platform provides considerable enhancements to traditional liquidity arrangements for both institutional investors and private traders.

Clients trade directly – without any dealing desk – using a PC, the web, or any mobile device. Participants can place orders directly into the ECN pool, essentially acting as a market-maker themselves, thus avoiding paying the spread.

Atom8 currently offers up to 50 currency pairs, as well as gold and silver, with spread-only or commission-only accounts. A host of new products will become available over the coming months.
