COMCAVE AG is the largest provider of digital learning contents and eLearning courses

In this year’s MMB E-Learning-Business Ranking, COMCAVE AG has reached first place in the “overall ranking” for the second time in a row. Therefore since 2010, it has been among the 30 companies with the highest eLearning turnover in Germany.

Nov. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Just as in the previous four years, first place was additionally reached in the categories “Offering - Offering of digital learning content and E-Learning courses” as well as “Hardware -  Sales of hardware for eLearning and knowledge management”.

Therefore, COMCAVE AG ranks first three times in the eLearning Business Ranking 2013 (overall ranking and sub-ranking) and is among the top 30 companies in individual “Categories  of eLearning-activities” (Offering, Hardware, Design, Consulting, Adjustment, Tools) a total of six times.

The MMB E-Learning Business Ranking portrays the range of offers of the participating companies.

The top positioning in the sub-ranking categories “Offering of digital learning content and eLearning courses” as well as “Sales of hardware for E-Learning and knowledge management” reflects the successful implementation of GECS®.

With the self-created GECS, COMCAVE combines different eLearning technologies to a high-tech method mix in order to offer practice-oriented training in a holistic distance learning environment. This was previously only attainable through time-consuming and cost-intensive phases of attendance. While trainers impart knowledge in real time via audio and video-conferencing , the Learning Management System and the eLab are available for self-regulated learning at all times.

COMCAVE AG does not  just take a leading position in the sub-rankings “Offering“ and “Hardware“;  it is also at the top in other sub-rankings such as  “Adjustment”, “Consulting”, and “Tools”.

“We are very pleased about the repeated placement,” said the CEO of COMCAVE AG, Maximilian Jaber, after the release of the ranking results.  “The success documents a solid and innovative company philosophy.

Innovations in IT have been gaining importance in the further education sector.  Learners are taking unconventional ways which enable them to be professionally instructed independent of their physical presence.  Another criterion for choosing eLearning as an instructional method is the time-factor, since learning contents, depending on the eLearning method, are available any time.

“Only companies, which have recognized the signs of time and constantly position themselves anew, will prevail”, said Maximilian Jaber.

According to the CEO, theCOMCAVE employees play a great role in the top placement.  “A company is the portfolio of its human, technical, financial, and knowledge-based resources and its ability to deploy these resources,” he explained.

It is the degree of efficiency and effectiveness which determines a company’s ability.  “Therefore, I regard COMCAVE employees as the main factor in this context.  They are the true winners of this top placement,” he continued.

The MMB-Institute for Media- and Competence Research has been conducting the MMB E-Learning Business Ranking since 2008.

This year, a total of 36 companies provided economic data of the previous two years (2011/2012).

The placements were determined by the amount of eLearning revenue in Germany over the past years.
