Anderson Zaks announces payment solution for Android tablets

BERKSHIRE, U.K. - Nov. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Anderson Zaks (http://www.andersonzaks.com/), a leading Omni-channel Payment Service Provider (PSP), has announced the availability of RedCard for Android. The new application provides a secure integrated card processing environment that is specifically designed for Android tablet computers typically used in retail, hospitality, transportation and other high transaction environments. RedCard for Android integrates wirelessly via Bluetooth to a combined card reader and PIN pad. In addition, the RedCard API has been extended to support integration with Android powered EPOS and business applications.

The majority of previously announced Android payment applications have been designed for smartphones, and are targeted at micro-merchants. The initial card reader/PIN pad model supported is the Datecs MPED 400. Currently the range of certified card reading PIN pads that can connect wirelessly is limited, but as new devices are released RedCard for Android will be ready to support them.
