Now in its eighth year, Designer Con is an annual art and design convention that combines collectible toys and designer apparel with urban, underground and pop art! This year’s show features 50,000 square feet of art shows, exclusive toys, pop culture goodies, and much more over not one, but two days.

Desinger Con 2013 brings together over 200 toy, art, and apparel vendors including Bad Juju, BAIT, Kidrobot, Circus Posterus, DKE Toys, Mighty Jaxx, Super7, Skullastic, 3DRetro, October Toys, STUDS, Munky King, Toy Art Gallery, The Loyal Subjects, Dragatomi, Trampt, Color Ink Book, Giant Robot, Mr Toast, Paul Kaiju, and many more!

Several art shows will be taking place inside the convention including 99 Deaths Of Jar Jar presented by DKE Toys and the STUDS LEGO Art Show featuring dozens of original LEGOTM art creations curated by Brandon Griffith.

Designer Con presents a variety of events and live entertainment including:

Suckathon! The Super Sucklord will be invading Designer Con with the third annual Suckathon broadcasting live and uncensored both days starting at 2 pm PST on ToyBreak.com, brought to you by DKE Toys and Toy Break.

Live Painting throughout the day at the Silent Stage booth.

World’s Biggest “Blindbox Time” brought to you by Toy Break and Designer Con! Bring a blindbox toy from home or buy one at the show and join us as we attempt to break the largest recorded group blindbox opening record from last year!

Panels with artists, designers, and independent toy manufacturers!

Exclusive 2013 DCon Goodies will be available including limited edition art coins by Jon-Paul Kaiser, commemorative shirts featuring a new design by Patrick Ballesteros, tote bags, and more!

Designer Con was founded in 2006 under the name Vinyl Toy Network. The show was created to bring together artists, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in the vinyl toy/collectible figures market. The first show was in an 1,100 sq. ft. meeting room at the Pasadena Convention Center and has now grown into a 50,000 sq. ft. hall with over 200 vendors, art & custom shows, live demonstrations, and much more. Designer Con now incorporates everything in the world of design, including apparel, plush, printing, sculpture, designer toys, and art ranging from fine to urban. The show was founded and still run by companies who are also vendors which is why they strive to provide a fun, safe, comfortable environment for fans, artists, and vendors to meet!
