As a token of thanks, the Kiwanis donated a children's book entitled, "Have you seen my new blue socks?" to the Venice public library in attorney Stephan's name. Michele Stephan had this to say about the event, “While the justice system in Florida is robust and effective at protecting the public's individual rights, for many having access to the legal system is difficult. My thanks to the Kiwanis and American legion for inviting me to raise this important subject which is vital, yet goes mostly un answered. By increasing awareness more of my peers may make themselves available to those in indeed in our community” About Attorney Michele Stephan Ms. Stephan has successfully litigated matters involving personal injury as well as matters involving the violation of nursing home resident's rights, defective products, defective medical devices, Federal civil rights violations, international child abduction under the Hague Convention and international matters involving civil theft and fraud.
